Casa de Miseracordia
In the fall of 2007, PCUMC began investigating several different ministry opportunities with the intent of establishing a partnership with a ministry outside of the United States. After much prayer, the decision was made to establish a partnership with the Oriental Conference in Mexico and specifically with the Casa de Misericordia - House of Mercy - orphanage.
Christmas Miracle Offering
Two thirds of the Christmas Eve offering at PCUMC is given to the Casa de Misericordia. At this time we are asked to give sacrificially. This means something different for everyone. Perhaps you and your family decide to sacrifice one gift and give what would have been spent. Others might choose to forego gifts altogether. Prayerfully consider what this means to you and your family.
Cards
The children at the orphanage enjoy receiving birthday cards and letters.

If you would like to send a card or letter, please make sure that it is translated into Spanish. There are several great sites that will do a fairly good job of translation.
Mission Trips
Several of members went on the first mission trip in June of 2009. It was a life changing experience for the entire team. There is currently another mission trip being planned for 2010.
